Morgan, Kali, & Emma – 2014 Outreach Coordinators

And the introductions continue…

MorganNext up we have Morgan Zumpfe in Nebraska. Morgan attends the University of Nebraska – Lincoln but grew up in Friend, Nebraska. Her major is Animal Science and is working on a minor in Agricultural Leadership and Communications. As a member of the Nebraska Agricultural Youth Council, the Block and Bridle Club and Chi Omega sorority she keeps pretty busy. When Morgan has free time she likes being on the farm, playing sports, traveling, and showing her Husker pride everywhere she goes! Thanks to the support of Farm Credit Services of America, Morgan is available to give farm safety and health presentations throughout the state of Nebraska free of charge. Kali Roberts is our 2014 Kansas Outreach Coordinator. She attends Kansas State University and majors in Agriculture Communications and Journalism. Originally Kali is from Lecompton, Kansas. She is involved in Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, a member of Chi Omega Sorority, a volunteer at the Hope Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center, and a K-State Proud Campaign Volunteer. When Kali is not in class or busy volunteering she likes attending concerts, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. EmmaLast but certainly not least, is Emma Christensen. Emma studies Animal Science with a Business Specialization at South Dakota State University. Hailing from Milbank, South Dakota Emma can give farm safety presentation across the state. She is an Ag future of America 40 Chances Fellow, a member of the SDSU Block & Bridle club, and on the Junior Meats Judging Team. Emma enjoys doing research at the SDSU Cow-Calf Unit, going to cattle shows, and is a member of the South Dakota Cattlewomen’s Association. About Farm Safety For Just Kids

Farm Safety For Just Kids is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to rural children and youth. We produce and distribute educational materials addressing various dangers commonly found in the rural environment. Farm Safety For Just Kids is supported by a chapter network of grassroots volunteers located throughout the United States and Canada. The organization also has part-time outreach coordinators in several states. Chapters, outreach coordinators, and volunteers conduct educational programs to raise awareness about safety and health issues affecting their communities.
