Bre & Kaitlyn – 2014 Outreach Coordinators

Introducing two new Outreach Coordinators! We are covering seven different states this year so stay tuned for more.

Bre BranderhorstFirst up, Bre Branderhorst. Bre attends Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and will soon be giving presentations throughout the state to promote farm safety. Originally from Prairie City, Iowa she is studying Agriculture and Life Sciences Education and is highly involved in extra-curricular activities. Bre is a member of Block and Bridle, the ISU Meats Judging Team, Collegiate FFA, Sigma Alpha Sorority, Alpha Zeta Honors Fraternity, and is an ISU College of Ag Ambassador. When Bre is not busy going to meetings or giving tours on campus she likes to show livestock, and cheer on her Iowa State Cyclones! Kaitlyn KerrNext we have Kaitlyn Kerr. Coming on board late in 2013 and we are very lucky to have her for 2014 as well. Kaitlyn is our Indiana Outreach Coordinator and is available to do presentations throughout the state and is sponsored by Cargill. Hailing from Brookville, Indiana she attends Hanover College and studies Communication. She is involved with Campus Crusade for Christ and helps recruit for the Hanover football team. When Kaitlyn is not busy on campus she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish! About Farm Safety For Just Kids

Farm Safety For Just Kids is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to rural children and youth. We produce and distribute educational materials addressing various dangers commonly found in the rural environment. Farm Safety For Just Kids is supported by a chapter network of grassroots volunteers located throughout the United States and Canada. The organization also has part-time outreach coordinators in several states. Chapters, outreach coordinators, and volunteers conduct educational programs to raise awareness about safety and health issues affecting their communities.
