Success for Chapters in 2013!

Our chapter network had a fantastic year! Spreading the word of farm safety and health throughout the United States and Canada is a huge task, thankfully we have over 75 active chapters doing it for us. Without the hard work of our chapters we would not be able to reach as many kids, parents, teachers, and farmers that we do each year. With that said, let’s look at the facts:

  • In 2013 over 75 chapters volunteered to give farm safety presentations
  • In total, there were 447 events recorded
  • We reached over 97,000 people through these events

If those statistics aren’t impressive I don’t know what is! We couldn’t be more proud of our dedicated chapters and diligent volunteers. See if there is a chapter in your area on our Pinterest page and take a look at the great work that was done this year!

About Farm Safety For Just Kids

Farm Safety For Just Kids is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to rural children and youth. We produce and distribute educational materials addressing various dangers commonly found in the rural environment. Farm Safety For Just Kids is supported by a chapter network of grassroots volunteers located throughout the United States and Canada. The organization also has part-time outreach coordinators in several states. Chapters, outreach coordinators, and volunteers conduct educational programs to raise awareness about safety and health issues affecting their communities.
