Outreach coordinators available for presentations

Guess what? If you’re planning a farm safety event and need a presenter, we may be able to help!

Farm Safety For Just Kids has nine outreach coordinators available to do farm safety presentations for FREE to any group or organization thanks to the generous support of ADMCargill, and Farm Credit Services of America.

Brittany Jurgemeyer, 2012 Iowa outreach coordinator
discussed animal safety with this group of kids earlier this year.

Trained outreach coordinators are available in:

  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa (2)
  • Kansas
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska
  • Ohio
  • South Dakota

These part-time, college students are available to travel the entire state conducting farm safety presentations at schools, libraries, county fairs, special events, even 4-H and FFA club meetings. At NO COST to the organization hosting the event!

Check out the website to see if you have an outreach coordinator in your state. Each coordinator’s bio includes contact information if you’re interested in bringing them to your event. Otherwise you can email Tyler Vacha, FS4JK chapter and membership director at tyler@fs4jk.org for more information.
