Need a quick safety lesson idea for your class? Maybe you want to cover farm safety in your next 4-H meeting. Here’s a quick way to teach kids about the importance of helmet use whether it be on a bicycle, an ATV, or a horse.

Create a jell-o brain mold by mixing cooked macaroni with peach jell-0 before it sets up.

Pour the liquid jell-0 and macaroni mixture into a container roughly the same size as a brain that’s been coated with non-stick cooking spray. A medium sized tupperware container for example.

Farm Safety For Just Kids is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to rural children and youth. We produce and distribute educational materials addressing various dangers commonly found in the rural environment. Farm Safety For Just Kids is supported by a chapter network of grassroots volunteers located throughout the United States and Canada.
